Course Summary:

In this Maker's Series class, students will build their own computer and learn programming too. Using a PIPER kit, each student will build their computer and then learn from a PI based curriculum. The computer will be yours to keep* and ensuing classes/camps will build upon what a student has learned. Throughout the course students will:

  • Build a computer.
  • Play Minecrat: Pi
  • Learn Programming
  • PRINT 3D OBJECTS

* -Includes additional Materials Fee for Piper Computer kit that is required for course. The computer is the student's to keep. All computers are fully workable computers that students can use beyond a classroom setting. 

Course Details:

Students will build their own computer (to keep) following PIPER instructions. After building their computer, students will then learn programming using a PI based curriculum featuring Minecraft. The computer is fully functional is purchased through the course materials fee. The class features other gadgets and future classes will explore more functions such as 3D printing capabilities.
